3 EFT Tapping Scripts for Indecisive Humans
If making decisions leaves you spiraling, second guessing yourself, or avoiding everything that reminds you of it, you’re not alone.
Coming from an extremely indecisive person, making decisions (especially life-changing or disrupting decisions) can take weeks, months, or even years.
But, I know that not all decisions can wait or be avoided forever.
You can’t wait for someone to tell you what you do. You can’t wait until ‘someday’ where the answer magically becomes clear.
Otherwise, you will be waiting for a long time. Some decisions need to be made quickly.
If you have ever wished you could tune out the fear, doubt and listen to your most true-self, you need to start using EFT Tapping to make decisions.
The answers are within you. All you need is the space to listen to what you truly know.
This EFT Tapping script is for you if:
You struggle to make decisions, small or big.
You constantly question whether you made the right decision.
You fear regretting your decision.
You are scared of the outcome of either choice you make.
You doubt that you will do what is best for you.
Questions to Use this Practice for:
Do I ask for something different or am I okay with the current situation?
Do I go to the event or do I stay home?
Do I keep working on my business or should I get a full-time job?
Do I leave my relationship or should I keep trying?
Do I tell them what they said upset me or should I let it go?
Do I forgive my family member or do I go no contact?
How EFT Tapping works for indecision:
EFT Tapping releases the hold that fear, doubt, and stress has on you. EFT Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique is a somatic practice using pressure points to release stress and other uncomfortable feelings. Learn more about EFT.
When you start to let go of what is blocking you, there is room to listen to your truth. Understand the truth. And let go of the resistance you feel once you know the answer for yourself.
This practice may lead you to:
Knowing the options available to you.
Creative paths to solve the core issue your decision will influence.
Trusting yourself to make a decision.
Deeper understanding of the decisions you will need to make.
Deciding the path forward you will take.
Tap and Ask EFT Tapping Script:
Tap and Ask is a perfect introduction into tapping if you are new to tapping. This is a less structured form of tapping, so if you don’t follow this script exactly, that’s okay! Follow your intuition. Use this as a way into the decision-making process.
Not sure what points to use? Learn the EFT Tapping points!
Choose the script and repeat as many times as you need. You can do this within the same practice or save this to come back to the script many times.
As you tap and ask, try not to rush or force an answer. The goal of these practices is to make room for what you already know and trust.
Tip: Have a journal nearby! Take notes of any thoughts or ideas that come up during this practice. You can tap as you look at these notes to continue working on the decision and knowing what to choose.

Closing Practice:
After doing the amount of EFT Tapping rounds that feel good, take a few moments to close this practice before moving into the next part of your day.
Place your hands in a criss-cross form on your chest. Take a few deep breaths at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Start to imagine a future in which you feel good about your decision. See it. Feel it. Notice what it is like. Start to butterfly tap. Left. Right. Left. Right.
Keep butterfly tapping until you feel good to move out of this space and into something else.
Take notes of what happened during this closing. You can use these insights when you act on your decision or in an upcoming EFT session for more support with your decision.
